N . BAR

Ever been on holiday and wished you could bring an experience back home with you? Maybe it’s that really cool bar from New York, or that coffee place from Columbia or perhaps that amazing spa from Bali! Well I’ve felt that so many times I can’t even count and honestly my wishes hardly ever come true. I tend to just pine after them in the hopes that one day ill be back there. 

Until now!…

Something I’ve always loved is the experience of getting my nails done in Dubai and one of my favourite places to go is N BAR. For those of you that have tried this will know exactly what I mean and for those of you that have not, I will try and explain it as best I can. Think sleek, minimalistic, no frills, only what you need and the branding so on point! You just know once you sit down you’re in capable hands (pun intended) and all that’s left for you to do is pick your colour and relax. It’s like the Apple Store for nails. 

N BAR pioneered the simplicity of nail spas and set the bar high in the region. What followed was a series of similar businesses that gained huge success and I’m pleased to report that on April 12th 2021 N BAR LONDON open its doors and I was lucky enough to try them out!!

I was met with the same tranquil demeanour and friendliness that I loved, the staff were so patient and extremely helpful, nothing I asked for was too much. They were even serving prosecco and macaroons! Manis & Macaroons as they called it. Can you think of a better combo?! 

The interior was exactly what I hoped for, simple yet stylish. The attention to detail was amazing, each station was individually decked out with everything the technician needed. The tissues were folded into a symmetric tower with cotton pads between every couple of sheets. The bottles containing their products all looked the same to keep the same minimalistic aesthetic. When I asked how they knew what was in each bottle they said “extensive training”. Wow right?? 

I opted for a French ombre gel manicure which they perfected and a gel pedicure that left my skin so soft. Not to mention the technicians knew their stuff! They had a specific way of doing everything and a very valid reason as to why it was done this way. Like I said… very capable hands. I left happy, relaxed and my nails have never looked so good. Not to mention i got to take home my own nail kit!

I literally cannot wait to go back!
