Skating With The Stars
We popped along to try some urban Ice Skating at one of London’s most popular rooftops. Did it disappoint? Absolutely not!
Playing host to Europe’s only real-ice rooftop ice rink, Skylight at the iconic Tobacco Dock in east London, has re-launched its winter season, running from 1st November – 27th January 2019 but with a little bit more winter magic than in previous years.
Themed around an urban après skate bar, the three-story venue has some of the best views of the city whilst you can enjoy ice hockey shooting DJs, a delicious menu of food and drink and for the first time some cute little igloo huts to warm up in and enjoy a mulled wine… or two.
Street food stalls are available on the lower level, from authentic Greek street food vendors YIRO and, Skylights newest foodie addition, Raclette Brothers, who are serving up indulgent Alpine street food and copious amounts of melted cheese.
Ice Skating with the London Skyline is a great way to spend your evening. Whether you can skate or not it doesn’t really matter as there is something for everyone.
Open Thursday & Friday 5pm – 11pm, Saturday & Sunday – 11am – 11pm
