HEADS + TAILS the bar of contrasts
Launched on 2nd November in West Hampstead, Heads + Tails is a new late-night cocktail bar from Will Partridge and Chris Dennis. As its name suggests, HEADS + TAILS is a bar of contrasts, both in its beautiful design and its creative output. HEADS, a bright airy bar serving light cocktails, gins, wines and aperitivo will be cleverly juxtaposed with TAILS, a dark, atmospheric basement bar specialising in whiskies and rums.
Will and Chris have reinvented the space so it meets the critical elements of a sophisticated late-night cocktail bar. Designed by KKD, Heads + Tails is a cool new addition to the burgeoning food and drink hub of North West London. The cocktail menu mimics the styling of the bar featuring primarily light and refreshing vodka and gin based twists on classics and contemporary libations. 
So lets talk about some of their amazing cocktails you can sample: The Dove (£10.5) blends pisco with Jasmine cordial – a combination of light yet tannic flavours with a refreshing sparkling wine finish. The West End Spritz (£9) takes a classic aperitivo approach and introduces more bold flavours of mandarin and bergamot. In opposition to the light and airy upstairs, Tails serves short, bold-style offerings based mainly on bourbon, rum and Scotch. The Twist of Fate (£10) plays homage to the Old Fashioned, using citrus oil and spices to help bring the bourbon to life. Raven (£10) melds together cognac and green tea with punchy herbal notes on the finish. 
Heads + Tails is available for private hire and each level boasts its own outdoor area. The larger main garden on the ground floor can accommodate up to 60 people, while the smaller private outdoor area can accommodate up to 15. This is without a doubt a cool little venue to spend an evening exploring some of the great cocktails available at the moment. Heads + Tails
