Sober and the City- Make the most of your moon time!

Sober and the City- Make the most of your moon time!

So LADIES... I’m gonna put it out there! Moon time can be especially difficult when you feel you have the world on your shoulders. I’ve certainly been affected over the last few months and I have been looking into different ways to control my urges to scream obscenities at the human traffic when walking through our concrete jungle-that is central London. The swarms of sticky humans taking the same tube route home as me... the person ahead of me taking A YEAR to decide how she likes her coffee done.

Fear no more, I have found a glorious concoction of remedies to overcome this vile ‘period’. Excuse the pun!

Vitamin B6 helps reduce anxiety-less likely to get your knickers in a twist in the morning when getting ready for work. Small portions of starchy food will reduce mood swings-leaving those ahead of you in the queue for coffee, safe. And Primrose night oil to reduce that unnecessary tenderness we often get in our booby area..
That time of the month was especially hard for me, in my partying days. To escape the wonky hormonal outbursts, I would be sure to have a back to back party schedule in the week leading up to it!!! Obviously this leaves one feeling a hell of a lot worse at the end of a good ol’ binge and being a tea total girl about town, this is no longer even an option!

I highly suggest giving my new routine a go...

Finding the time to CHILL out is also a big thing I struggle with.
I’m not sure if it’s because I’m getting older or simply because I have given myself the chance to connect with the world, outside of deadly hang overs and party planning.
I find sitting on Primrose hill and watching the sunset- THE most satisfying and intensely inspiring feeling to end the day with.

As I sit here this evening I write my gratitude list -

I am grateful for -
✨ my darling Benji
✨ patience
✨ acceptance
✨ love burning in my soul
✨ kind people
✨ the world being so utterly beautiful
✨ colours
✨ the person who cuts the grass on Primrose hill (someone tell me who and when this guy manages to nail it?!)
✨ freedom in sobriety
