The Car Boot Sale of the Year is Back!
Hosted by Alex Eagle, the Women for Women International #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale powered by Reselfridgeswill return to Selfridges London on Saturday 20 May 2023, as part of Worn Again, a season of experimental and circular shopping experiences at Selfridges.
Having first experienced the celebrity boot sale at its previous location on Berwick Street, we became addicted, not just for the insane fashion finds at a fraction of the cost but also because we love recyclying clothes whenever we can and because this is a charity event helping women. Now at Selfridges Car Park with boots filled with past-season, vintage and pre-loved designer fashion donated by brands, designers and fashion and beauty insiders. All money raised, including ticket sales, will go directly to Women forWomen International, enabling the charity to continue its life-changing work with women living in countries affected by war and conflict.
So far Cconfirmed brands include 111SKIN, By Rotation, Cash & Rocket, Charlotte Tilbury, The Conran Shop, Founded Beauty, FRAME, Jimmy Choo, L.K. Bennett, ME+EM, Mira Mikati, Needle & Thread, Reselfridges, RIXO, Slip, Skye McAlpineand Zoe Communications. And thats just the brands there will also be stylists, designers and industry names such as Alex Eagle, Sarah Harris, Naomi Smart, Sharmadean Reid, Eugenie Niarchos & Noor Fares, Evie Henderson & Bella Tilbury and Julia Hobbs & Laura Hawkins who are emptying their wardrobes and donating pre-loved pieces from Chanel, Dior, Loewe Gucci, Off White and many more.
In 2022 the #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale raised almost £250,000. These funds enabled the charity to continue to reach thousands of women survivors of war amid the exceptional challenges of escalating violence, gender inequality and humanitarian and economic crises.
Curated by Women for Women International Ambassador Alex Eagle, and supported by inspirational and passionate individuals from the fashion industry donating time and resources, the #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale has raised over £940,000 to help women survivors of war since its launch in 2016. SO whats not to love? Shopping at bargain prices , doing something good for the planet and giving back to women!
